Overview

This section helps you move an existing identity workload from another vendor onto Olympus. Each guide covers the same three questions:

1. Concept mapping, their term ↔ Olympus term.
2. Identity export → Kratos import, getting the user directory across.
3. OAuth2 client mapping, re-registering apps against Hydra without breaking them.

Cutover patterns

All migrations support two cutover patterns:

• Big-bang, short scheduled downtime; export, transform, import, switch.
• Dual-write, temporarily authenticate against both the old and the new platform, gradually phase out the old one.

The Auth0 and Keycloak guides cover both patterns; the others currently cover big-bang only.
